A light gray manual with the title "IBM Operating System/2 Standard Edition" it has four 3 1/2 Inch floppy disks inside and a smaller ringed white book with the name "IBM Operating System/2 Standard Edition Users Guide" it is a guide on how to install the system, how to run programs, and how to use common commands to manage information. Also inside contains a quick reference card that has common commands and a command tree. Lastly there are some miscellaneous papers such as mailing cards for additional update floppy disks and another booklet.
