Personal & Portable Computing

Almost all smartphones in 2019 look and act the same, with an on-screen touch keyboard. But this only happened after several decades of experimentation with different types of physical keyboards and handwriting recognition with a stylus. This exhibit was assembled to show off some of the different types of personal and portable computers in our collection.
